KEYNOTE ADDRESS | Latin America Corruption Landscape and Global Trends: What Can We Learn from Petrobras, FIFA, and Siemens Cases?
The First Chief Prosecutor of the permanent International Criminal Court will share his perspectives on the anti-corruption landscape, compliance challenges, and enforcement activity across Latin America. Through few of the leading cases he will expose new trends of private and public corruption today. He will also share insights through his experience as Chair of the World Bank expert panel on PADMA BRIDGE PROJECT ( 2013), board member of Transparency International and former president of its Latin America and Caribbean office; his role as advisor of the World Bank Institute; and his academic anti-corruption work at Harvard, Stanford, and as Senior Fellow at the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs at Yale University and Distinguished Visiting Scholar at New York University.
