At the 2019 Global Ethics Summit, Ethisphere Executive Vice President Erica Salmon Byrne had the chance to catch up with Halsey Cook, Chief Executive Officer, Milliken & Company about the importance of culture and ethical leadership.
This is the 13th year Milliken has been included on the World’s Most Ethical Companies list and it is one of eight companies included every year since the award’s inception in 2007. Milliken is one of 128 companies recognized in 2019, a list of organizations touted for equally filling a need within their respective community while also advancing the company’s overarching success. The thirteenth class of honorees is among the most sophisticated in cultivating a culture of integrity: measuring whether employees are comfortable speaking up, view leadership as trustworthy and take personal ownership in making sure the company is an ethical place to work.
