On December 6, 2016, Ethisphere will host its 4th Annual Asia Ethics Summit at the Fullerton Hotel, Singapore. This program will focus on how some top-performing companies are elevating global performance through company culture and leading practices. Topics on the agenda include, risk management, data and privacy, global board engagement, anti-money laundering compliance and much more.
Last year, the 3rd Annual Asia Ethics Summit was held at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. The event kicked off with a discussion featuring a panel of Asia-Pacific General Counsel from leading companies who shared their views on the compliance landscape, the compliance team structure, and how their roles have evolved to adapt to increased standards in the business market and new regulation. Some companies at the summit included, 3M Company, Dell, Hilton Worldwide, Jones Lang LaSalle, Microsoft, Singtel, just to name a few. Another highlight of the event was a moderated keynote on company culture, which focused on values and how to sustain company integrity. The panel of executive leadership spoke about what companies need to be doing to ensure company culture goes beyond “tone at the top,” and positions the company for ethical excellence. In 2014, Ethisphere and Asian Legal Business hosted the second annual Asia Ethics Summit in Singapore, offering a local perspective on important global issues such as creating cultures of integrity, strong ethics and governance programs, and compliance topics such as anti-corruption challenges, data privacy, third- party risks, anti-money laundering and more. More than 200 attendees were present, 85% of them representing multinational companies Attendees and speakers included CEOs, board members, general counsel, compliance and ethics professionals, government professionals, academics and other thought leaders within the ethics, governance and compliance fields.
